Gail R. O’Day
(1954-2018)
Gail R. O’Day, visionary administrator and New Testament scholar, died on September 22, 2018. She was 63. Having served as the Dean of the School of Divinity for nearly a decade (2010-2018), the School thrived as it implemented creative approaches to theological education and community engagement, increased its student enrollment, and expanded a faculty who enhanced the entire University’s visibility and impact.

Celebration of Life
A celebration of Dr. Gail R. O’Day’s life will be held on Monday, Oct. 8, at 1:30 p.m. in Wait Chapel. A reception will follow in the Green Room of Reynolda Hall.
